My Voice Experience

I have had several professional opportunities, some of which I especially enjoyed. One of my favorite opportunities was with the Dallas Cowboys, in which I learned so much about broadcasting and about myself. I wrote and voiced commercial copy for the Dallas Cowboys which aired on their radio network. It was there I discovered that I had a real talent for voicing and writing broadcast and commercial copy. From there I had other opportunities from producing, anchoring and reporting news to actually producing my own radio show called, “Real Music Now”, where I interviewed new Christian music artist on Dove Radio Network. All of this lead to one of my most exciting and fulfilling professional accomplishments when I produced, edited, and voiced an audio book called, Open Heavens for LiveWay Productions.

My Training

I completed a Master’s degree in Journalism with a minor in Radio, Television, and Film at the Mayborn Institute of Journalism at the University of North Texas in 2005.

I received a Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in 2003 where I majored in Journalism/ Public Relations with a concentration in Media Production.

In 2007, I took a Voice Acting Class at the Lone Star Actors Studio in Houston, TX

In 2008, I received private Voice Acting coaching from Jim Conlan of Radio Works.
