My Voice Experience
Once upon a time, I was majoring in Communications with an Advertising emphasis at the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University. At the same time I served as the Music Director for KUGR, our student run rock radio station.
While it is not necessarily voice over experience I worked as an on-air dj from 2003-2005 for KUGR performing my own weekly show. During my tenure as Music Director I interviewed Robert Schmidt from Flogging Molly in person and P-Nut from 311 over the phone. Unfortunately for me the tape recorder was broken and did not record my interview with P-Nut. I don't have solid proof that I did interview him save for two people who were in the studio when I did, Mike the production director and Andy the dj up next.
In my final advertising class at WSU in December, 2005 we created a whole public service campaign to inform Washington State residents of the correlations between methamphetamine use and identity theft. We created television and radio spots. I acted in the commercial spot playing a retail store patron and provided voice over narration for the radio spots.
This is, so far, the extent of my voice over experience
THE END .... for now.
