My Voice Experience

Appropriately as it fits my voice well, I have been a gospel preacher for more than seven years. In that time I have preached hundreds of sermons before audiences ranging from 30 to 300 in attendance. I have also performed dozens of weddings and funerals.

I have been told that I have a voice that is ideal for radio. Therefore I began and hosted a radio program one hour a week for six months in 2004.

My Training

My training is public speaking is limited as I have been coached by other preachers in how to use voice inflection, tone, and proper breathing to maximize effect.

However, most of my training comes through self-teaching. Reading various books written by perforners and voice-over coaches such as Susan Berkley and Steve Cohen, I have applied myself to properly utilize the techniques suggested.
