Voice Description
My voice is smooth and clear, with no accent. I have a wide range, and can perform a variety of voice types: from deep voice announcing, to medium pitch range often found among adult and teen aged males. I also have the ability to do child voices, and a variety of accents, and idiomatic voice types (i.e surfer dude, southerner/cowboy, New York
/L.A fast talker, Hillbilly, etc). My voice clarity comes through on all broadcast media, and is easily understood.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Surfer Dude/ Whoa Dude - Think Spicoli's character on Fast Times at Ridgemont High.."whooooa...DUUUUDE!!...Sweeet!!"
Aussie Archtype - This is much like a "Crocodile Dundee Accent, complete with idiom use..."Shrimp on the barbie, Havvin' a rippah..Wheres the wimmen, well, theyre not heee"
Irish Brogue - Think of what you would expect a leprechaun to sound like.. "Seamus O'Tool I am, and you best be keepin' yer hands off of me lucky charms!!"
Southerner/Cowboy - This is most like what you would expect from a southern gentleman archtype. From a soft "Jeff Foxworthy" type, to a slow, drawling "Kentucky Colonel, or tall drink of water cowhand" type....Howwwwwdy Ma'am..
NY-LA fast talker - This is best described as what you hear from the typical hustling businessman, wall street type. Fast words, choppy and staccato, almost percussive. New York has accent and idioms, L.A does not
Hillbilly - This is a thick southern accent, with heavy twang, and Hard pronounced vowel usage.
My Voice Experience
I formerly worked as a DJ in Nightclubs in LA and Orange County, California, eventually leading me to a weekend show on a local AM radio station. Doing voices and joke telling was a large part of my act, and many jokes involved a variety of voice characters, to make them more appealing to my audiences.
I moved to Texas, and continued my career in clubs around the Dallas area. This involved working as a stand up comic, and MC for special events. in 2001, I auditioned for the coice of "Big Tex", an icon of the State Fair of Texas, in the form of a 50 foot cowboy. I finished in the top 5.
My Training
Most of my experience is in the field, and has provided me with the most practical of educations. I have a degree in Electronics Engineering, so use of the equipment involved is second nature to me. I studied music for many years, and played in local bands. This is where I learned microphone techniques.
I Since have taken college classes in broadcast production at Brookhaven College, Dallas Community Television, and have also attended the Travel Channel Academy, for Digital Film Making. Since that timeI have founded Sound and Vision - Christopher Nash Productions. A video and audio production company, utilizing the latest in digital technologies. Today, I have the capability of producing anything to broadcast standards.
