My Voice Experience

I have always been able to create a likeness of Movie Voice Over actor Don LaFontaine and for comedy purposes I would do that voice to make my friends laugh. Well one night I was at a party and someone asked me to do that voice. I made something up on the spot and then did the voice. It ends up that one of the guys who heard me works for a local radio station, which I now work for as well, called WXLV 90.3. Anyway he loved the voice and said it would be great for the promotion they wanted to do for a benefit show they were putting on. I immediately agreed and from there on out I have been doing VO's every now and then. And everyone who hears it just simply loves the voices that I do.

My Training

Well its funny. I have never taken any college courses or seminars or classes or workshops on how to do voice overs or to do voice acting. It was by mere coincidence that I fell into this. But rest assured I have been told by other voice actors that I have a natural talent for doing this. However, I do plan on taking some voice lessons.

I am an honest and hardworking person. Every job that is handed to me is done quickly and with high quality. As of right now I am still in college, but can work around this to any job that is given to me. I do not know as of yet what I plan on doing as a career, but I am sure that it will involve music. So far I have only done voice overs for the radio station, but I know that I am quite versatile as far as what voices I can do.
