Voice Description

My voice can best be described as a "classic, midwestern voice". I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and have no real accent. I am currently the play-by-play voice of a minor league baseball team and have years of experience in sports broadcasting. I have also done radio news and sportscasts. I have a rich voice, not too deep. It is a very "listenable" speaking voice that would be good for narration and on-hold tapes.

My Voice Experience

I have worked in professional radio for the last 9 years. In addition to news and sportscasts, I have done play-by-play for just about every sport imaginable! In my time with radio stations I have done on-hold tapes, voice-overs for TV, voice mail, and phone greetings.

My Training

I have a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. The majority of my training has come on the job. I have worked in the radio industry for the last 9 years in Colorado, Kansas and Iowa.
