My voice is very warm and rich for the purposes of narration and documentary-style presentation, with very effective pauses so that listeners can digest information better.

I have a very smooth and clear delivery for audio book voice work, good enunciation and making listeners feel like I'm talking to each individually.

I can read a Spanish script, and have good command of Spanish pronunciation, but I am not fluent in the language.

My Training

I have a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Arizona State University, of which part of my curriculum was two years of working at the campus radio station in many vocal varieties (announcer, sportscaster, promos). When I worked for KRDS AM/FM and KOOL AM/FM in Phoenix, my voice over work continued as I learned mixer board production and provided my voice for commercial spots. Finally, I attended a class at Paradise Valley Community College this past June titled "Intro To Voice Overs" which armed me with more knowledge and inspiration to pursue voice overs as a career.

My Studio Equipment

Labtec PC microphone, FTP, Audacity software with export in .WAV and MP3 format, and speakers all connected to my Dell PC.

Additional Skills

I have extensive experience in the Toastmasters public speaking organization where I have given many speeches in the Phoenix area. I have also worked for two radio stations in Phoenix as an on-air announcer. Finally, I have done many presentations in the corporate world for training purposes. I am very coachable and always believe that there is room for improvement in voice over work.
