Voice Description

I'm from Alaska, so I think everyone else has a dialect... I don't. I've got several character voices that I enjoy. There's a Crock Hunter parody, a Drak & Igor duo, as well as an Old Koot that I'm very fond of. I would love be heard on cartoon voice work!

My Voice Experience

I've worked in radio and production since 1984, but grew up around radio even as a kid. I've spent alot of time in the production studio creating radio spots, TV imaging, naration, music production and even sound effects for theatrical use. I was Production Director at Anchorage Media Group, overseeing and producing spots for 6 different stations. If that doesn't foster versatility, what does?

My Training

I've been using carts, reel-to-reel 2,4 and 8 tracks since I was a teen-ager. I've worked at radio stations that actually played all their songs from vinyl! Then again, I've worked with ADAT, Pro Tools and several PC digital audio workstations. My personal favorite recording software is Adobe Audition (Cool Edit Pro all grown up.)

Additional Skills

I can sing, produce, remix and edit music... And I love it! I am also dabbling with video production... I most enjoy Overproducing, which to me is a style using multiple special effects and lots of editing. I can deliver dry voice, effected voice, voice over music as well as full theatrical soundscaping. I can imitate or emulate whatever style you have in mind! Try me!
