Voice Description
My natural voice is a gentle baritone, and I can round it out for a deeper, soothing effect. I have a strong ear for vocal inflection and tone, which enables me to imitate voices like Barney, Spongebob, Patrick, Stewie, Butthead, Eddie (Maisy), and of course The Simpsons (Bart and Homer). I create voices for pets and animals based on such characters.
I have a decent, generic singing voice that works well for clean songs as well as humorous lyrics.

My Voice Experience
Former lead singer in a rock band performing covers of Steppenwolf, The Smithereens, REM, and many other standards from the 60s - 90s. I also recorded original music in various styles, including country, folk, and heavy rock.
I have played guitar for 23 years, and welcome the opportunity to incorprate my guitar playing into voice work. My guitar heros are Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, Eddie Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Randy Rhoads, among others.
I am also a self-taught sound engineer, and I have all the equipment needed to produce my own recordings. I can use sound shaping techniques to alter my voice for a variety of purposes.
My Training
I am an electrical engineer (BSEE) and expert computer professional. My voice work has been a hobby for years, and I would lke to take it to the next level. I currently manage a call center providing technical support where I have honed my soothing baritone to calm angry clients. My tone takes the edge off, and my sense of humor breaks the ice.
