Voice Description
I can do just about anything except deep like James Earl Jones. I have a higher pitched voice like a rock star, but can't hit extremely high notes for long periods of time. I specialize in character acting and narration and have been praised for this talent by my former students and fellow teachers.
I pick up voices with an exceptional ear and can learn a new voice in minutes. I have a natural acting ability that comes through in my voice and would be ready for any role.

My Voice Experience
I'm a natural with talent that hasn't gotten on track with it until now, so my experience is limited but all I need is a shot to get started.
I sang on 94WYSP in Philadelphia, PA back in January of 2010 for Danny Bonnaduce's Aerosmith Idol contest, where the contestants were singing for a pair of Aerosmith tickets, and trying to prove that they were good enough to fill Steven Tyler's shoes in his absence from the band. I won the contest with 81% of the votes from all of the world-wide listening audience.
I've only had one recorded voice over that's been included in a video that's only been seen in a small circle. During February of 2007 I did a voice over for MIB Productions on a project for the MRCC Crisis in Healthcare meeting. This was during my 3 years in Video Production as an editor and tech specialist.
Other than that, as of last year I'd done random/requested impressions for my students as a substitute teacher and I also read books to some classes I've subbed for in my time with the Montclair Public School district.
My Training
Training?
I had one class that taught me what I had to do to break into this business. Unfortunately the only reason I haven't gone further is due to the 2 things no one ever has enough of, Money and Time. $1500 or more for training, $1000 for a demo, and creating a website for promotion...that I don't have, probably never will.
I haven't acted on stage since 6th grade in a production of Ruddigore (Gilbert & Sullivan) and I haven't sung on stage in public since spring of 2000 at a Karaoke contest I won.
Education?
Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Albright College in Reading, PA with a degree in Digital Media and Art (not performing arts)
Overall I've ignored my inborn talent until now because it's not a marketable skill in a tough economy, but I guarantee that I have the skills to fill almost any role, no matter what degree or training I have.
My Studio Equipment
I have a Logitech USB headset and a computer with Skype and cable internet.
The "studio" I used to work at, at Reel Life Tributes in Carlstadt, NJ is pretty far away, isn't sound proofed, doesn't have condenser mic's, but can record and edit audio on any video editing program available. Unfortunately I'd have to either pay for time there or work a favor for time there.
I know a little about audio engineering, but I'm no pro. I'm an editor.
