My mouth is open for business! I've had a passion for being behind the microphone since I was 8 years old. Whether it was making recordings with friends in my basement, co-hosting high school and college talk radio shows, or producing my own podcast series, I cannot remember a time when I wasn't using my voice for something creative.
I co-hosted "The Chris and Dave Smorgasbord", a popular talk radio show at high school radio station in suburban Chicago way back in ancient 1980's. Since then I have built my own home recording studio while hosting and producing a weekly podcast with my daughter. The Smorgasbord Internet Radio Show (or SmorgShow Podcast for short), is presented in the same format as the original show. It offers a variety of topics and features, including the recreation of classic old-time radio dramas. Listen to some of our samples here on this site, including bits from "A Christmas Carol", "Sorry, Wrong Number", "The Sisters", "On a Country Road", and "Zero Hour".
