Voice Description

My voice varies in a number of different ways and styles. I can be softspoken and comforting for audio documentaries and audio book readings, but can also have a loud, energetic, and "In Your Face" attitude for commericals and radio imaging. I can be professional, polite, courteous, and breathtaking for corporate presentations and speeches.

My native language is English (American English). I speak with little or no accent, but I am able to do a northen "yankee" accent but also midwest, Californian, and southern accent (I am from the South so that is what I'm drawn to).

I have been known to do several types of voiceover work. I've done some cartoon character impressions (most notably Peter Griffin from "Family Guy") and also character impressions from other live action television shows (like The Cryptkeeper from "Tales From The Crypt") In other radio commercials I have done, I've impersonated many celebrities and singers as well.

My Voice Experience

I started my voice over experience by doing the back drive through at McDonald's. I was always predestined to be a star. Five years later I have my own radio show on WMSR Star 94.9 FM In Florence, Alabama (I have been doing the night show 6pm-Midnight shift from March 2001 to the present). I have the top ratings in the market in my timeslot (nearly a 2-to-1 margin over the #2 competitor) On top of doing my own show, I also record and produce commercials for the station (I am one of the top voice overs artists at the station).

My Training

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of North Alabama in Communications (where my concentration is in the Radio/Television/Film department). I also have had extensive radio training over the past 5 1/2 years at WMSR Star 94.9 FM in Florence, AL.
