My Voice Experience
Well Ive been a lead singer in a heavy metal band during highschool and some of college, a lead member of an R&B group in and after college, and an avid country singer songwriter nowadays just for fun. I havent done any professional work doing voice overs but ive done many voicemail/answering machine messages(fun and professional sounding) for family and friends. I just figured id try to take my voice talent further and to give voice over work a shot.
My Training
I havent been trained in voice work, but ive been a musician ever since i was a kid and have a strong understanding of pitch, notes, etc. Ive taken private voice lessons, and was in choir in highschool. Im a strong and versatile singer. Ive studied clarinet for 4 years. Guitar for over 10 years. Piano for about a year now. I self taught myself to play guitar and piano.
My Studio Equipment
Most of my songs were recorded in an in house studio of a friend. Ive only learned how to use a fostex 4 track recorder for recording vocals and music. Ive used many different effects pedals and a digitech multi effects processor for live shows.
Additional Skills
I was a laptop support systems specialist for 4 years. Responsible for troubleshooting; networking, internet/email, printing & data backup issues. Worked with deal programmers to apply any software fixes/updates to on-site systems. Provided around-the-clock technical support. Performed laptop and server software/hardware maintenance, updates and virus scans. I have a strong knowledge of MS office, Windows 95, 98, 2000 & XP.
