Voice Description
I have a very smooth, trustworthy and dependable voice making it perfect for industrials and documentary type work. I've been told by several people that I have a "radio voice". My voice has a deep sultry quality which can work well for various types of commercials and other voice over work. My Voice Experience
I used to think of the uniqueness of my voice as a liability; my voice has been quite deep since about fifth grade and had been the source of much annoyance for me. As I "grew" into my voice, however, I was asked over and over to announce for this event, or MC for that event. As such, I have been the MC for an evening of poetry, Flava for the Soul, with special guest recording artist Michelle N'degeocello; host/mc of poetry shows at Howard University and Georgetown University; co-host of CityView TV in Washington DC; the MC for Fire up the Funk featuring Live in Color Dance Collective; and filled in as a DJ for WHBC 830 AM.
