Dynamic – Intelligent – Versatile - Artistic – Chess Julia Allan is a D.I.V.A. in the voice arena with a strong range of vocal skills that make any Producer or Director’s life so much easier! She started her theatrical life as an actor at the age of 16 years - as thte leading lady of the Tait Theatre company. Then she travelled to New York at the age of 20 where she recorded two duet singles with the late 'Tiny Tim'. After living in new York for a period of time she returned to her home ground of Melbourne. Australia where she continued her performing career, whilst also producing other bands and acts. Her dynamic career took her to a 'behind the camera' role as both Director and Producer of literally hundreds of television commercials. In 2009, Chess Julia continues her showbiz career both behind, and in front of, the camera. Chess Julia is also the host of 'Good Health Television' which is distributed nationally across Australia.

With a couple of decades of entertainment work and experience, Chess’s voice is heard regularly on national TV, Radio, Corporates, Education, Web, On-Hold, CD-ROM and Multimedia productions. She has a regular stable of happy national and international Voice clientele, and displays an undoubtedly professional manner which shines through even the most complicated voice sessions……. and always with a smile!
