Voice Description
English speaking with or without British accent. Dramatic, one character that I have worked on sounds very much like C. Deville from 101 Dalmations-so rather mean and cranky.
Have broadcasted on radio stations in 3 cities, Illinois, Missouri and Iowa for WGEM News in Quincy, Il.
Had several people call in and also send e-mails when I first started broadcasting and to quote: Who is the new broadcaster, she has a great voice!
Smooth and Professional.
Animated characters, just depends on the character!

My Voice Experience
I am working on a story that has a character ( one of a kind ), which if used could be another possible Harry Potter type story. Very unusual but several of my friends think it is GREAT!!! They are all pushing me to go for it!
So...here I am!
Have done Radio Recordings for News Broadcasts that were played at the top or bottom of the hour OR when news happens! This was done in 2005 for WGEM News in Quincy, Il.
I have been told by soooo many people that I have a great phone voice and I should do somthing with it as it is a gift!
So...I'm trying-right here with you!
My Training
Attended classes in California at Santa Monica College. The instructor picked me out of the class and wanted to coach me as she felt I had much potential to do many things! I was quite impressed with this! However, the cost was more than I could afford at the time, so I continued working at my present job in LosAngeles.
My Studio Equipment
I worked in the studio at WGEM News in Quincy.
Have also worked with numerous bands and worked with PA equipment. Worked with Mics for soundchecks.
When I worked with MST Ebtertainment in Denver, Co., the owner even said " Your voice is so clear and sounds great through the Mic!" Nice complement, but at that time I did not take it to serious.
My friends in Denver have a studio, in fact, Suzy is the voiceover for the old McDonalds add " McDonalds is your kind of place........! I know you have heard this, haven't most of us? We all know McDonalds huh?
Additional Skills
Very important to have a nice voice when talking with customers via the phone.
I also have learned that when in a studio you may need to use hand gestures while in the midst of recording to be able to express yourself and make it sound as needed!
You may need to smile when speaking, etc., just depends on the job itself!
Very important to get along well with your director and be professional. And at the same time have a little fun and humor. However, time is money, so it is a serious job!
