My Voice Experience

As a longtime teacher, I'm used to speaking in public, and for many years, people told me I should be doing voiceover work. I took their advice. I am experienced but not "jaded," and I am ever-enthusiastic about your projects!

My Training

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and English and a Master's Degree in the Sciences. I am certified to teach any science as well as English and Speech. I have had 5 years of professional voice training in singing. I have taken a couple of voice over seminars with Bettye Zoeller and I have had one workshop with Deb Monroe. I am currently a student of Deb Monroe's.

My Studio Equipment

I have my own studio, but I am not knowledgeable at all. My daughter set it up and I can record auditions and send them as MP3 files. I do, however, have access to a professional studio in Dallas.

Additional Skills

I am a classroom teacher, I have done some public speaking, and I have written some curriculum. I have a lot of experience in the teaching field, specifically in the sciences. This has made me very comfortable with scientific and technical language.
