Voice Description
My voice can be sultry and deep, funny and annimated, also professional. I only speak English fluently, but I have a lot of fun entertaining friends and family by making up my own language, with accents to match. Sometimes I can change my voice into a little Jamaican flavor. I like to have fun, and have found different voices by just tailoring my stories to the audience I am with.

My Voice Experience
When I was young (around 7years old),and very shy, I found myself often playing alone. To entertain myself, I would impersonate people I heard on television. I would write and practice a short skit of about 3 people, record it on my reel-to-reel tape recorder, play it later for my mother and father. They thought it was so funny...but, never encouraged me to do anything with it.
As I got older, I would impersonate family members at family reunions, getting laughs all the time. Since 2003 I have been the emcee for a direct sales marketing company, Ethnic Expressions. When I host I use my voice in different ways doing comedy, jingles, or making up my own wrong songs. Sometimes a new voice will pop into my head and suddenly I am a deaconess in the First Baptist Church complaining about the fans being misused.
My Training
Although I have not had formal school training, I have the opportunity to facilitate workshops and trainings and since I have a captive audience, I make the classes interactive and fun by incorporating funny voices. I also have a keen ear, and a great sense of humor, allowing me to often create my own commericals at parties, gatherings, etc.

Additional Skills
As a Human Resource Manager and training for life coachiing, I am often given the opportunity to be in front of an audience. In order to make it fun, I use comedy, voices and different faces to keep the crowd engaged. One of the best voices people enjoy is the old mother of the church complaining about the "chilren runnin' 'round all willy nilly." You must hear me to get the full effect.
Thank you.
