After one year in V/O I made national on CBS. Promos. National CBS Evening News spots; Trailers for movies (Female version: Crouching Tiger/Hidden Dragon, Coyote Ugly); Presentations for Southwestern Bell, as well as regional TV commercials; weekly announcer for Vista LA on KABC; original voice on the New York Life commercial, imitating Kathleen Turner; selected out of 2500 men and women to work with Cheech Marin on Taco Cabana, as his alter ego. Audio books for the blind.
Worked for an ad agency and the President of WCBS in New York, after speaking to me over the phone, had me audition for a CBS spot. Trained through Kalmenson & Kalmenson in Burbank. Background in theatre. Degree from Queens College and American University.
Worked in V/O for twelve years. Married to Chuck Riley, famous V/O artist, who passed away in May 2007. He helped me with my training and prepping for auditions and gave me a sense of professionalism. I have a studio that I can use for recordings if the client is unfamiliar with the LA recording arena. I can loop/ imitate voices if given a recording as an example. Even though Caucasian, I can imitate Della Reese; which I did for Disney.
