My Voice Experience

Thirty years experience in different aspects of the business has given me plenty of opportunity to deliver different voice over and voice talent. From Eight years at WHTM-TV, Harrisburg as a news reporter, to commerical voice overs through Hellam Hills Productions and Kondor Media, LLC, I've voiced commericals for the garden, woodworking machinery, automobile, and exposition industries among other.

My Training

Voice over work started out as an enhancement and mode of clarification inworking with visual elements in the television news arena. Commerical voice over for radio and television continues through today. But it all had it's roots in film production classes at Edinboro State College (now University) in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. Follwed by a Master's in Education in Learning Resourses and Mass Media at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Seven years of film, video production, news reporting, voice over narratons, half hour special reports, on air talent for news, weather and morning anchor gave me a firm foundation. Along the way I stretched my range by participating in live theatre events where I play a New York Nurse, an older person in Edie Albee's the Sand Box, a not so grieving widow, and an enthusiastic young ghost in Our Town.

You will find my mild pleasing tones can veer drastically to emphasise points or create characterizations. I am familiar with horticultural terms, the culture of the North East, and South West. I enjoy travel and humanitarian experiences in such countries as Ghana, Africa; Brazil and in home town neighborhoods in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
