Voice Description

I have a fairly high talking voice, which sometimes makes me sound younger than I really am. But, when it comes to singing, I'm much more alto... I've been told, on numerous occasions, that I have a clear, tonal voice. And that I'm best at Disney theme songs or slow, rock ballads. My influences include: Kim Carnes, Pattie Darcy-Jones, Cher, Tina Turner, Gregg Allman, Elton John, Concrete Blond and Melanie Safka! I'd much rather sing than talk, but I've also been told I'm excellent at reading aloud.

I can take just about any song off the radio and make it my own; all I need is a little background music to get me started... I have a very good ear for all genres of music, because I spent most of my childhood, with my ear glued to the radio, lol! I can also sing acapella and that's usually when I'm best at vibrato.
