My Voice Experience

Charlie Morgan only began to seriously consider voice-over as a profession early in 2007. Prior to that he spent a full and rewarding career in higher education as a college professor and dean, not as a professional voice, although he has frequently been the announcer for special events. He has provided narration for a wide range of programs, both live and recorded.

As the past district governor of an international service organization he is in great demand a keynote speaker.

So although Charlie Morgan has only a couple of years of experience directly in the voice over field, he has a great deal of experience in using his rich, warm voice to positively influence listeners. And of greatest importance, he's a strong believer in being a professional in the very best meanings of that word.

My Training

Charlie has a Ph.D. in Physics.

My Studio Equipment

Charlie has a well-equipped personal studio with ElectroVoice Cardiod Dynamic mics and Macintosh-based digital recording equipment. If more extensive recording facilities are needed for an assignment, however, he is very willing to travel to nearby cities. Greenville, SC, Charlotte, NC, and Atlanta, GA are all close by.

Additional Skills

Charlie has extensive advanced amateur experience in sound recording going well back into the reel-to-reel days and proceeding forward to sophisticated digital systems.
