Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Neutral British English, RP, midlands to northern English, straight or parody franglais, (English with French accent). I can do soft lilting southern Irish, or bolder northern Irish. Italian and eastern european. I can deliver giggly girlie and authoritative intelligent mature woman. I have been chosen for my similarity to Dervla Kirwan from the Marks and Spencer adverts and the wonderful Joanna Lumley. I have had experience bringing strong warrior and sorceress characters to life as well as cackling witches, hags, storytellers, sporty teenagers, innocent ingenue types and sexy temptress. I can do cold android and ships computer voices (like Glados from Portal or more sarcastic and wry/dry like Holly from Red Dwarf). I enjoy doing whispering and sinister, creating suspense and tension for horror genres. I have also narrated erotica literature with explicit adult content.

I can offer 3 years experience in the voice industry including television (voice for Columbus Travel Insurance for 2 and a half years now), radio, online promotion and independent works for radio plays as well as computer and video games. Film trailers, animation and corporate promotion. I am a qualified broadcast journalist (news, presenting and magazine style programmes) and am used to conveying awkward scripts smoothly and accessibly. I am on the board of narrators for the Royal National Institute for the Blind and have had experience in narrating a wide range of material from children's books to erotic literature with adult content. I have experience in stage acting, volunteer for my local hospital radio and am a board member of the Royal National Institute for the Blind.
