Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

British (standard and cockney), New York, Surfer, young father, German, French (with some language experience), Russian, and many more. If I don't know it, I know where to get references with tapes and IPA to learn it immediately.

My Voice Experience

I've only had one voice over job which is listed on my resume. I did an in-house narration for a video presentation for Keyspan. But I've done at least 3 other recordings in studio for singing. These were with the Citrus Singers for their Christmas CD, a 40s style announcer for the Los Angeles County HS for the Arts Jazz CD, and as Chorus for the Demo of Cyrano the Musical.

My Training

I've had 3 years of dialect/speech coaching at Boston Conservatory, 8 years of acting training (focusing on natural acting as opposed to large audience acting), 3 months with the Edge Studio trainging courses (and still continuing), and 12 years of singing, mostly classical (which I feel gives people a better idea of how far the voice can go with volume, pitch, tone and mood).

My Studio Equipment

If I had to find my own studio, it would probably be Edge Studio in NYC. They have all the bells and whistles. But I have had experience putting my own singing demo CD together at home. Though I had no proper equipment, you can hear the finished product at www.geocities.com/cparker252000

Additional Skills

I've been told I'm easy to work with, that I have a great ear, and I love doing character recordings even though I haven't put that demo together yet. I love doing high energy and difficult texts. I love challenges and I am looking to put together a more extensive resume to start.
