Voice Description

People have always told me since the time I was a young teenager that I had a nice voice, one that would be good for radio or voice over. Other than that I don't know how I can describe my voice in writing. I still have my New Orleans native accent, but it's not as pronounced since I haven't lived there in quite some time, and I'm able to negate it entirely when I'm speaking in a professional or business environment.

My Voice Experience

Worked in the hotel/tourist industry for 15 years in Louisiana, Florida, Colorado and Hawaii, as a bellhop and tour guide. Had to give orientation speeches for arriving tourists. Took 3 years of Spanish in high school, a short Russian course while in the Navy, and one semester of Japanese in college. Currently work as a data entry clerk contracting out through temporary agencies like Manpower.

My Training

None, but I do sing for my own enjoyment and my girlfriend. Also play a little alto sax and harmonica. Majored in Journalism in college. I have an Associates of Arts degree from Leeward Community College in Hawaii, and attended Loyola University in New Orleans for two years, but did not complete my degree requirements.
