My voice is naturally resonant and gravelly but it can be smooth and polished for narration. I can bring great energy and inflection for promos. I do several character voices in several age ranges and several dialects to accommodate the needs of clients. I specialize in narration, professional presentation, playing parental roles in animation and commercial work but my voice is warm enough to do voicemail and messages. I take great pleasure in crafting characters and I'm always on the lookout for new cartoons, video games, and animated series in which to pour my talents.

My Voice Experience

I consider myself to be a voice actor, not simply a voice talent. I have provided voice-overs for more than a dozen theatrical productions, Industrial training videos for Montgomery County, Ohio as well as Carlisle Cranes, and have recently started podcasting my own sports themed weekly show called SPORTZILLA.

My Training

I attended Northern Kentucky University where I studied Acting in their Department of Theatre and Dance. Among my training was diction, dialects, inflection, projection, pace, and character study. I received voice training from vocal instructors at NKU who taught me pitch and rhythm, as well as how to care for my voice.

My Studio Equipment

I use a simple home studio with a Samson CO1U Studio Condenser Mic hooked via USB to a MacBook running Garage Band. High quality combined with the greatest ease of use.

Additional Skills

I work as a stage actor and director and am familiar with all stages of production. I am an avid fan of animation and love playing video games. Although my interests lie primarily in creating characters, I am also quite interested in voicemail greetings/hold messages, narration, and presentation work.
