My voice and style are best suited to text that requires a certain degree of gravitas and authority. I possess a voice that tends toward the baritone, but absent the "boom." I've also been told by many clients that they consider me their "go-to" guy when "soothing' is what's needed. I am not thrown by esoteric jargon or polysyllabic scientific terminology. If you have important information to impart, I'm one of the guys you should consider. Also capable of mustering gobs of sarcasm.

My Voice Experience

Although it was not planned, it appears that the niche I have carved out for myself lies within the realm of pharmaceutical and corporate exposition. This is because I speak distinctly and seem able to impart meaning to dry text. And yet I have recently been hired for a number of "spots" that have required a highly sexual voice. They're a lot of fun to do.
I'm extremely easy to direct because I have virtually no ego, which is not to say that I am not fiercely proud of the work I do.

My Training

I've worked with two prominent vocal coaches and hope to continue doing so throughout the rest of my career. I am continually working on developing "new" voices and styles, and view what I do as a true profession. Pleasing a client is of paramount importace to me. When my client is happy, I'm ecstatic.

Additional Skills

I'm a voracious reader of both fiction and non-fiction. Believe me, this is importatnt. A voice over talent with a fund of information in their brain is far more likely to understand what they're being asked to read, and understanding is crucial for an appropriate recitation.
