Voice Description

I have a deep male voice, with some smooth timbre, tinged with a slight gravelly edge. I have perfect diction and a very competent professional delivery, but prefer, and I am more comfortable with, a natural and ernest form of delivery. I have a wide range in my speaking voice, but have the most presence in the baritone register.
In terms of tone of message, I can be very authoritative in a clean, professional style, but can be equally as convincing in a smoky, familiar, seductive Barry White style of narration.
I am comfortable with many accents and dialects, particularly Southern American accents, Irish, and other European accents, as well as Mediterranean and Arabic accents.

My Voice Experience

I have recorded many PSAs and SPAs for various state and federal government agencies, private firms doing charitable work, promotions of civic events, concerts, conventions, and the like. I have also done voice recordings for several businesses' phone answering services.
I have also done some voice narration for theater events and plays.

My Training

I was a radio announcer for a few years, doing interview shows, some promotional segments, but mainly as a host of jazz and blues music programs. I also hosted call-in talk radio shows, as well as classic rock, and hard core rock shows.
I also studied acting for a few years, as well as playwrighting, and performed publicly with my own comedy troupe.
