What entices me to seek voice work is a short interview which I was picked to do at Comerica park last summer. It aired on the Detroit Tigers pregame show on July 22, 2009 and is on You Tube under Charles Martin Cosgriff. I am very comfortable in front of the camera and the microphone, as the clip demonstrates. It was completely improvised, obviously, as I was picked out of the crowd, but it shows my comfort level well.
For several years I wrote, edited and delivered commentaries for the Michigan Conservative Union on radio stations in Michigan.
BA History, University of Detroit. I taught Adult Education for over 20 years, which has helped tremendously in being able to relate things to people of various ages and groups.
I write for Examiner website.
I have some in studio experience with my radio commentaries, and I have a voice demo made at Ringside studios in Oak Park, MI.
I have high quality microphone and recording sysyrem which my son operates for me.
I am very comfortable in front of the mike and/or the camera. My teaching experience allows me to reach people effectively within their comfort zone.
