My Voice Experience
Featured voice on national spots for Ford Motors, National Institute of Health, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Kraft Foods, Sears, J.C. Penney, Southwest Airlines, Disney, ESPN, Pfizer, General Motors, Mercedes Benz, State Farm Insurance and others. I was the only voice artist on an audio-visual project for the San Francisco school system and various other school system narrations. My voice (also on camera) was featured in TV commercials for Chicago radio station WBMX-FM as well Cleveland Census Bureau (on-camera) commercial. Voiced characters on soap opera for Chicago radio station promo. Voice of PBS-TV summer concert series, filmed at Southern Illinois University. Wrote, produced, and/or voiced commercials for ABC RADIO NETWORKS "Take A Loved One To The Doctor Day" national campaign. Voiced religious poetry for audio CD.
I attended the Institute of Broadcast Arts in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In Chicago, I studied under Peymon Rami School of Acting. In Cleveland, I studied at Karamu House, and script writing at Richland College in Dallas, Texas. I learned phrasing, production, character projection, and delivery, working in the production department of radio stations in Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Indianapolis, and New Orleans. My experience in media includes hosting morning radio shows in all these cities, and also writing and producing a video documentary.
My Studio Equipment
I am proficient in using ProTools with HUI. My personal studio includes Adobe Audition version 3.0 and a Behringer XENYX 1622 board with FX. My microphones include a Sterling ST55, and various Shure mikes, depending on the project.
For almost 15 years I have been in charge of quality control over the audio projects of 13 announcers, and also make sure they met deadlines. So I am very concerned about both quality and I know how to get it done before a deadline.
