My Voice Experience

I've been heard on ESPN, TNN, Z-Music, TBN and the Prevue Channel. I was also the on-camera host of 'Music Notes' on the Prevue Channel and was the TV announcer & on-camera remote host for NBC affiliate, KJRH. I'm currently heard on Focus On The Family's show, Renewing the Heart, and was midday host for several radio stations including KBEZ, KVOO, KXOJ (fill-in), 101QFL near Chicago (via voice tracking from my home studio), and imaging voice for CIRNH.com, an online radio station. I was also afternoon drive host on Contemporary Christian giant, KCFO and have anchored morning and afternoon newscasts.

Throughout my 20+ years in the broadcast industry I've enjoyed huge success as a voice over talent for a wide range of radio and TV ads. From cars to cats, I've probably helped sell it all!

At the last radio station I was with there were numerous endorsements over my six years with the company. Products included a new Dawn cleaning liquid, Oreo cookies, Lasik procedures, a local dental office, an optometrist, an upscale fashion store, etc.

My Training

I have a degree in Telecommunications with an emphasis on Broadcast Journalism. I have experience in several different radio formats including Adult Contemporary, Country and Contemporary Christian. I've been the promotional voice for a local NBC affiliate and also performed as live on-camera talent for remote broadcast features while employed there. This led to voice-over work and on-camera work with the national cable channel 'The Prevue Channel' which has since been sold to TV Guide. Prevue also utilized my talent as an on-site Demo Model for national conventions.

Additional Skills

During my years with KBEZ, I taught myself HTML code to keep up my own personal blog and to update the station's community calendar. I have developed a love of photography and with it a love of scrapbooking. I've got to do SOMETHING with all those concert photos!

Throughout my 20+ years in the broadcast industry I've had the opportunity to meet and interview tons of celebrities. Probably the most memorable are Garth Brooks and Muhammad Ali.

I've enjoyed movies my whole life, and right after college I worked as an extra on several projects and ONE film that made it's way to video/DVD, 'All American Murder.'
