My Voice Experience

I created my first radio demo tape as a 4 year old. Yup. I knew all about microphones and talking over the intro to a song and proper inflection and blah blah blah. My dad was in radio and I grew up loving the studios.

Other kids grew up playing video games. I grew up turning anything around me into a microphone. By the time I was a teenager I had done more v/o work than most DJs do in their lifetime. I did radio dramas, promotional stuff, characters, fun stuff...

When I was 16 I had my own radio show. That was fun, but I was still looking for something else. The thrill of the live show just didn't do it for me.

But reading some copy and adding effects...

When I was 18 I started focusing more on the post-production world. I voiced and produced concert spots and other promotions. I experimented with EQs and compressors and mic placement. Nothing was more fun than manipulating a v/o and adding the perfect balance of music and effects - creating what I like to call: "a 30 second song."

Over the past decade I've been refining my art. Always learning, always listening, always creating something new and better than before. I'm blessed to work with numerous clients across the US. Give me a listen. Turn it up! I think you'll like what you hear.

My Training

I've studied piano, guitar, and music technology. I've studied various forms of communication while in college. In 2003, I graduated from the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences in Phoenix, Arizona. I've learned from many v/o masters at various seminars including the GMA convention in Nashville.

If experience is the best teacher, I consider myself well-trained. I've worked with many sought-after voice over talents and producers over the past decade, and each one has taught me valuable lessons about the art of voice over and production.
