My Voice Experience
The granddaughter of a jazz trumpet player and daughter of a country musician, Nashville native Cati James has been exposed to a wide variety of music from a very young age. Before coming to NYC to study Musical Theatre at the prestigious American Musical and Dramatic Academy, she spent 4 years living in the Caribbean, where she cultivated a love of island music. In addition to appearing in theatrical productions throughout the US and Caribbean, she has performed in concert with such talents as Gold Record recording artist Jonathan Edwards and Tony Award winner Lillias White. Cati's extensive training and eclectic musical background make her voice a perfect addition to any style of project, from classical to country.
