My Voice Experience
I have been doing voiceovers since I was in my early teens. I am now in my mid-30's and have done everything from being a disc jockey, doing live remote broadcasts, spokesperson for car dealership television commercials, produced my own syndicated radio program, do creative radio commercials, television voiceovers, special productions for radio revenue as well as message on hold (MOH). I have also done welcome presentations for businesses. I love to MC events and I am very seasoned at interviewing. I have been a dj, program director, news director, production manager, sales manager, and general manager in radio. I also record liners for radio stations. I perform at various functions singing and entertaining. I write music, have a cd out, and am very outgoing. I enjoy writing copy for effective radio and television and I like putting together effective schedules for broadcast.
My Training
I have worked in radio and television since I was in my early teens. I cut my teeth in the radio business. I have taken seminars and training courses on how to write effective commercials. I am also a proven salesperson in radio and television sales. I MC events and perform (sing and play guitar) at various functions. I write music and have a CD out. I am the spokesperson for a Honda dealership in New Mexico and I do the television commercials and their radio commercials as well. Some of the courses I have taken include Chris Lytle RAB Course 1 and 2, Jason Jennings, Zig Ziglar, System 21, plus I continually read books related to my industry and try to stay informed and educated.
My Studio Equipment
I do have my own recording studio. I use Adobe Audition 3.0 (the latest version for Windows Vista). I have a Mackie Board and an M-Audio Fast Track Pro soundcard. I have a Senheisser MD421 II microphone that has a very good sound. I keep the screen on it for sound quality and I have a Stedman Proscreen XL that is excellent for P's and S's. My microphone goes through a 528E Symetrix voice processor. I also use the SE sound eliminator that surrounds my microphone so as to keep out all the noise. I also have a Sony CD player, a Optimus cassette deck, a full TM Century music library with sound effects. Plus a new Dell Optiplex 330 computer where I mix everything together with my software. My monitors are Roland Stereo Micro Monitors MA-8. Plus, I do have a Microboards CD duplicator, a Remote Mix C for recording over the phone, and a Marantz interviewing unit plus Sennheiser interview microphone for outside recording.
Additional Skills
I have a proven track record in writing and producing effective, appealing radio commercials. I also do message on hold, television voiceovers, live remote broadcasts for radio, television spokesperson, MC for various events including talent searches, festivals, pageants, etc. I write songs, sing regularly, play guitar, and enjoy performing at various functions.
