My Voice Experience

My voice was only trained through choir singing which started when I was 8 yrs old and I think it paid off. I never thought that I can professionally sing until I joined a local singing contest on National television here in the Philippines in 1988. Even amazed myself when I became an undefeated champion for 8 weeks (its the longest you can hold on to being a champion until the finals) and eventually emerged as the Grand Prize winner of the finals on the same year. Since winning that contest, I pursued the career for awhile guesting on TV shows through the help of Showbiz personalities I've met starting from the Ms. Pilita Corrales and Mr. Bert Marcelo, the singing competition's hosts. I've joined also the Organization of Filipino Singers(OPM) which exposed me to more performances. I'm a regular Wedding singer in our church for 13 years which made singing love songs as my forte. Since my marriage and regular work in the office was given priority, live singing has taken a back seat and has done mostly recordings for religous organizations or for campaign materials during national election.

My Training

Graduated Bachelor of Science, Major in Accounting 1990; Attended workshop on singing with Center for Pop Philippines in the late 80's. Voice lessons under famous Tenor-Noel Cabahug under Ryan Cayabyab's Music Studio in the '90s; Attended various seminars and workshops offered by the Organization of Filipino Singers to enhance artist's voice, personality and career.
