My Voice Experience

I have had 2 parallel careers- a teacher and a singer. As a teacher I had to enunciate clearly and be a bit of a performer - using my voice as my primary tool to control a classroom and convey each lesson. I had to vary my inflections, cadences, and tones to keep my classes attention. As a singer I had to do much the same, knowing how to sing the same notes in the same passage in a multitude of ways to add different shades of color to the performance.
