My voice is quite flexible. It is suitable for narration and corporate type delivery. It has a warm, feminine quality that can be strong or breathy. It contains liveliness and humor can be distinguished in it.
Phrasing is excellent and characterization is a plus in reading narration especially children's literature. The diction is very good and adds clarity to explanations or directions.

My Training

I was a secondary theatre teacher for 32 years. I attended and facilitated numerous workshops in performing arts and communications as well as education.

My career included voice over narration for in house events and slide shows, marching band narration and the like. I have often been the emcee for banquets and benefits and fashion shows. I ran the distance learning center at my school in addition to directing and/or producing all the shows. I have always been a performer. To teach theatre, or to teach at all, means five shows a day, every day, every year and the audience keeps changing.

I attended an overview program and then a master class at Voices for All in Clifton Park, NY. in 2010.
