Catherine is a highly motivated, experienced professional who has worked all over the UK, Los Angeles & SE Asia. A down to earth, open actress with an exceptionally wide emotional range along with the facility for more off-beat, quirky comedy.
In her early career she also produced, wrote & performed with her own highly successful theatre company, going on to work with companies such as Joint Stock.
Continues to work in the field of communication skills with a range of clients. Currently much of the work is with medical professionals-so familiar with medical terms etc. Other companies worked for include BMW, BA ....
Catherine ‘s creativity is reflected in the eclectic credits on her CV including rep, site specific, film and TV. Recently she played May/Mother in Beckett’s Footfalls alongside classical pianist An-Ting Chang. This proved one of the most demanding projects Catherine has tackled which left us in no doubt that she could rise to any challenge. The 'Mother' in this piece was recorded voice -an aged character with exceptional power & gravitas.
Over the last 18 months Catherine has appeared in a number of feature and short films including ‘Where I Belong’ directed by Fritz Urschwitz, playing Glaswegian working class mother Claire Wright opposite Nathalie Press and Mathias Habich and due for release in 2013
Relaible, flexible - open to most types of work. Clear, effective , welcoming communication of a wide range of materials.
