My Voice Experience

Worked at a VT radio station doing voice overs for commercials (Late 1980) Recorded poetry, rhymes and stories for pre-school and elementary school's 'books on tape'(1990's,early 2000) Voice over for exercise programs recorded on VHS (late 1980 early 1990s).

My Training

I learned on the job - feedback from the copywriters, techs and clients. I have taught dance for 24 years and have learned to use my voice to instruct and motivate all ages and types of students, from pre-school right up through college; beginners to pre-professionals. I have read to children for over 20 years and have also read to seniors in nursing homes. I have the ability to make stories come alive through my pacing. I consider my 'narration' and 'instructional' voices to be my strongest suite. Additionally, I have worked as a receptionist and store announcer both of which required a clear, warm and friendly voice. I have clear speech and annunciate well.
