Voice Description
My voice has great range. I can be warm and motherly, sultry and sexy, authoritative and matter-of-fact, depending on the type of project. I do a variety of character voices and accents, which I have developed while teaching public school. When I read to the children, all the characters in the book have different voices and accents, all done by me!

My Voice Experience
Most of my voice experience has come from being a public school teacher for the past 23 years. I read aloud to children of all ages on a daily basis, and when I read, all my characters have voices. I am able to switch between character voices from line to line if they are having a conversation - without missing a beat!
I have also been a stage actor for 15 years, and have used a variety of accents and voices on stage. My favorite was doing "James and the Giant Peach" where I played both Aunt Sponge (cockney accent) and the Spider (Russian accent). Even people who knew me - didn't recognize my own voice under those two - they didn't even realize they were done by the same person!
As a teacher, I am also experienced with public speaking on a more serious note, and can deliver speeches with proper grammar, timing and pronunciation in standard English.
