I've been told that my voice is firm, pleasant, middle range. In my extensive commercial work, I am often speaking as a reassuring Young Mom, or a confident pharmaceutical product Sponsor or Heroine.
I am also capable of lowering and softening my tone which allows me to cross over into a more sultry, sexy range.
With contrast, I can also do one specific baby cartoon voice.
My accents include, French, Mexican and Spanish.

My Voice Experience

I have over 100 national and regional commercials under my belt, in which my characters range from Young Mom, Confident Executive to Sexy Female Car Announcer and more.
I have a sophisticated voice which can easily be manipulated to become sultry and sexy. With a past life in the erotic film industry, that ability came in quite handy along with a few other assets!
I also have musical theater in my repertoire, with a lower middle C range and powerful belt.
And a quality of my voice that I have yet to exploit is my cartoon baby voice, a big hit with pets and kids, and my husband!

My Training

The beginning of my career was in theater and all by accident. The New Mexico Repertory provided Theatrical Articulation and Dialect coaches, I was quickly hooked. I attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, where speech and voice is a 3 hour a day requirement. The Alexander Technique was part of my weekly regiment at the Joanne Baron Meisner school in Santa Monica, CA.. My Voice-over career started doing documentaries for the board of tourism of New Mexico. Voice-overing for national monuments and site-seeing tours around the Land of Enchanment. With no training at the time, it was a great on the job training opportunity as these documentaries took several hours a day at 3 days a pop.

I've worked in the commercial and film industry for 23 years, I have a great understanding of how the industry works and what is required of me to have a successful experience for all. I am 'low maintenance' and personable. I am personally a member of SAG but I can also be hired as a non-union employee (thru my corporation).
