My voice ranges from the board room to the bed room and from the urban to the urbane.

I was raised in the midwest and spent many years living in Southern and Northern California. I also lived a short time in Connecticut. I can easily go from one dialect to the other.

My Voice Experience

When I lived in Southern California, I did some recordings for the blind as a volunteer.

I also recorded script for a real estate show describing various properties for sale in and around the Baltimore area.

My Training

I enjoyed acting in plays in high school. I worked for many years in the entertainment industry and have developed an understanding of how the business works.

The combination of my natural talent and my industry understanding make me uniquely qualified to work as a voiceover actor.

My Studio Equipment

When I did voiceover work for the real estate company, I used my Sony digital recorder, loaded them onto my computer and forwarded them on to the producer for dissemination.

Now I use my freetalk handsfree headset and also Skype. I've been offered a radio show so I expect I will become more adept at the technical side of the business.

Additional Skills

I am usually very upbeat and energetic. Being raised in Chicago and raising my son in Los Angeles gave me the confidence and faith to know that I can do anything.

While working in legal, human resources, customer service call centers and other clerical and administrative functions, I was told many times that I have a distinctive, warm, friendly and sexy voice.

I have also been told that I sound a lot younger than I am.
