Voice Description
Luckily, I have a pretty wide range in pitch for my voice. I have recorded spots in deep and scary voices as well as high pitched and bubbly. The higher pitched "smile when you speak" sound is what I use for my pop radio station, but most of the commercials I do sound deeper and more like an announcer.
I have a slight southern accent that can be hidden or pronounced, whichever is needed.
I can do everything from a high-energy promo to a slower, soothing phone greeting. I am a young guy but still I have a very mature voice, so I have the ability to sound like a 15 year old boy, or else a 50 year old man.

My Voice Experience
"Hey, it's KC on Star 102.1...getting you through your workday with today's hit music. Sit tight for the absolute cheesiest part of your Friday afternoon, but still your favorite...don't lie! It's the Funky K-Town Boogey and we'll do it here in about ten minutes, if you've got anything crazy going on this weekend I need you to call me now, 656-STAR!"
Yeah, that's me. My name is Casey Beaman, but I go by KC on a CHR/POP radio station in Knoxville, TN. The station is WWST Star 102.1, I am the mid-day jock.
I am 25 years old but I have worked in radio since I was in the 7th grade (I did a weekend show for a Beach Music station in Eastern NC). I am that kind of a jock who always sounds extremely happy, but not in a "make you wanna puke" kind of way. My biggest daily compliment is when people tell me that they can hear through my voice that I absolutely love my job, and no matter how bad their day is going, I always make them smile.
I voice many radio and television commercials for the Knoxville market. I have worked for local FOX and WB affiliates and I did voiceovers for many of their local spots.
I have also voiced several promos and jingles to help a company called N-Pall Entertainment in Nashville, TN (the promos I have done are for a touring alternative rock band).
My Training
Bachelor of Science in Communications at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Broadcasting Major).
I have expanded my knowledge in audio production with training from N-Pall Entertainment (Nashville, TN), Mojo Music Management (Knoxville, TN) and Journal Broadcast Group.

Additional Skills
My additional skills include acting, music and salesmanship.
I have participated in community theater for all of my life, I am a guitar player and I worked in media sales for a local FOX and WB affiliates. I've also got a good singing voice. It has about 8 years, but I did earn a slot as a bass in the NC All-State Chorus two years in a row.
