Voice Description

My voice has a young, upbeat and warm personality to it. I was the voice of VH1Soul and VH1Soul Radio in 2003 and 2004. I also wrote and voiced an on-air Commercial for MTV's National "Choose or Lose" campaign.

My voice has also been used on several on-air tags and commercials for TEMPO/MTV Television, NetPro Solutions and "How Fi Dance Reggae; Volume 2".

I have a very identifiable young-adult oriented voice. However, due to my Caribbean heritage, I am able to voice with both Jamaican and Caribbean accents as well.

My Jamaican accent has been used continually for radio promotions, advertising and commercials on WVIP-FM (formerly WRTN-FM).

Also, I have done interviews featuring my voice with several POP, Mainstream, Hip-Hop and Reggae Artists in my career.

Music is the passion that drives Caryl Quashie p.k.a. Quashie~Boo!!!, the latest addition to Australia's Official R&B Chart Hits Urban Countdown!

This New York City fashionista has her roots firmly planted in Mainstream and Urban Radio. Always "in-the-know", Quashie~Boo!!! promises to keep you abreast of all the latest chart movement along with a dish of the week's tabloid happenings. For good measure, she may even give you a little bit of "wha'gwaan" in the Dancehall in her second home in Kingston, Jamaica!

This young lady has ALWAYS been a music maven. Known to get in trouble with her parents for doing her homework with the radio blasting, Quashie~Boo!!! has always known that Radio would be her forte. "I used to live for the next record to be played on New York's WBLS and later the Hip-Hop staple, Hot 97. I could never get enough!!! I would eventually fall asleep listening to those very same stations!", she remembers.

With her unique style and flair for music and talent, Quashie~Boo!!!, an alumna of New York's Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.), went on to a career in the Record Industry. "My first Label gig was an intern at Arista Records. I was so excited! My career has taken me to such Record Labels as Columbia, Def Jam and PolyGram, as well as MTV and VH1!!!" I've worked with everyone from Def Leppard, Sting, 50 Cent, and the list goes on and on!!!", she laughs!

Not one to "blend into the woodwork", Quashie~Boo!!!
later branched out to take a stab at Radio and Voice-Overs herself. "By doing V.O. work and Radio, I am finally getting to use the voice that God has blessed me with! This is a truly wonderful experience!"
