Coaching with Nancy Wolfson of Braintracks Audio: May 2011 to present
Creating Characters Workshop with Pat Fraley May 2011 in Seattle
Audiobook Narration Workshop with Pat Fraley and special guest Carrington MacDuffie Nov. 2010 in Seattle

BA in Music - Vocal Perf from Whitman College in 2000
My Studio Equipment
My home "recording booth" is a closet in the center of my house (no exterior walls) with a double layer of moving blankets to deaden the space and absorb noises coming from outside the "booth." I also store some linens in there to further reduce the "boxiness" of the acoustics.
I have a Blue Blubird Condenser Mic and a Project Series USB Dual Tube Preamp/Interface.
I use Audacity software to record and edit on my laptop.
Additional Skills
I trained for many years to be a professional opera singer. While speaking into a mic is very different from singing in an opera house, the acting training I received has been very beneficial in my transition to voiceover.
I'm also a wife and mom to a toddler. My son helps me stay in touch with my inner child, a real asset when I'm voicing a young character!
