My Voice Experience

With a background in theater and voice, I know how to use my voice in a variety of ways to communicate ideas. As a piano teacher, former educator and tour guide I am keenly aware of what it takes to effectively keep the audience interested and understand the concepts being presented. Whether singing, playing the piano or trombone, ,music is a big part of my life. My musical experience is a benefit to my voice-over work in phrasing, breathing and expression.

In college, I minored in Theater Arts, acting in various productions and most recently I completed voice-over training with SuchaVoice, Burlington, Vt.

Additional Skills

I believe all of my musical skills, including singing, piano and trombone are relevant to voicer-over work. As a teacher of piano group classes I am constantly required to project my voice clearly and keep my students interested and focused, by using variations in my pitch and expression. I also sometimes use character voices to add spice!
