My Voice Experience

With several years' experience in broadcasting and narrating audio books, Carol is proficient in voiceover recordings with an educational bent. She has narrated over 50 e-books on a variety of topics, from "Building a Koi Pond" to "Attention Deficit Disorder". She is a regular newscaster on VoicePrint, a broadcasting station for visually impaired listeners. With many years experience presenting educational workshops and courses, she has a unique ability to get difficult concepts across in a clear and entertaining voice. Carol has additional experience as a public speaker for a variety of non-profit organizations and has been a frequent keynote speaker for the United Way.

My Training

Along with training in the art and business of voice overs, she has expertise in adult education. Because of her past experience as both a counsellor and educator, she knows the importance of voice as a tool for introducing new and difficult concepts to the listener. She has attended many courses over the years in drama, singing and creative writing, all of which contribute to her ability as a voice over talent.

In her own studio, Carol has the top software (Audition) microphone, mixer and computer equipment. This results in a crystal-clear voice product.

Additional Skills

For many years, Carol was involved in founding and administering a grief support program. During that time, she continued her hobbies of voice over artistry and creative writing. These hobbies led to several published short stories and her current focus on voice over work in many different areas.
