I have worked for over a decade as a character actress on stage and in film. Although I am just beginning my voiceover career, I bring to voiceover the years of utilizing my voice to portray different characters, including differences in education, age, social background, and life experiences.

Singing (musical theatre - character mezzo).
Improv under the Groundlings and Second City.
Shakespeare in London for a summer.

Additional Skills

I am a character actress. That means that I can play anything. Voiceover allows me to squeeze all the information about a character through one portal - my voice. I can paint the entire person - if she's standing up straight, if she's had a bad day, if she's happy the sun is out - with my voice, so that the listener gets a complete experience of this person and feels her in the story.
