The Desert Sun Newspaper, Palm Springs, CA 1/07-Present:
Custom Publication Content Manager: Manage six-person department responsible for the non-daily products produced by The Desert Sun. Act as client solutions group to determine needs, content and layout of revenue generating publications. Shepherd the entire publication from meeting with the client, to developing timelines for production, determining and assigning editorial, design, layout and proofing.

KPSP-CBSTV2, Thousand Palms, CA 10/06-12/06:
Weathercaster: Gather data and prepare forecasts utilizing WSI’s WxProducer graphics system for live weekend and morning weathercasts.


THE VIRGINIAN-PILOT NEWSPAPER, Norfolk, VA 9/96-3/00:
Held the below positions during my tenure with The Pilot. Received three promotions in four years.

Executive Producer, Local News on Cable, Norfolk, VA: Manage staff, develop daily content and plan short and long-term programming and marketing strategies for 24hour cable news channel. Coordinate partnership between WVEC-TV, The Virginian Pilot newspaper and Cox Communications. Mentor reporters to be multi-media friendly. Special attention to developing convergence of print, online and broadcast media. Report, anchor and fill-in weather as needed.

Coordinating Producer, Local News on Cable: Liaison between print and broadcast newsrooms as described above. Developed content for programming and promotions including booking newspaper reporters for TV appearances. Facilitated international news coverage including The Weather Channel for a locally built hurricane-proof house. Report, anchor and fill-in weather as needed.

Online Producer, Pilot Online: Product manager for region’s first entertainment-based web site. Produced content, designed HTML pages and wrote weekly internet column for the newspaper and internet intended to drive traffic to the web site.

Assistant Editor, Port Folio Weekly: Conceptualized, wrote and edited stories, developed marketing strategies and managed a staff of freelance writers for weekly local magazine.

WAVY-TV, Norfolk, VA 12/96-7/97:
Weathercaster: Weekend morning weathercaster. Gathered weather data and designed computer graphics using EarthWatch weather system.

WFOG Radio, Norfolk, VA 10/95-1/97:
