Voice Description
My audiobook experience has helped me to develop a narrative/spokesperson style. Because I have studied and can communicate in Spanish, French, Portuguese and Dutch I can also be depended upon for excellent pronunciation both in English and these and other languages.
In addition,(perhaps because I'm an ex-smoker)I've been told my delivery can be breathy/sexy with lower tones that often remind people of Kathleen Turner.
Since I have been writing corporate communications - including speeches - for many years, I also have the capacity to be very business-like and informative in my delivery.

My Training
I was involved in Latin American theatre productions as a college student and as a speaker, trainer and speech coach during my corporate career.
I have a degree in political science and post-grad work in journalism. Most recently, I enrolled in a graduate communications/media program at NYU.
In addition to free-lance writing and editing, I am currently delivering one-hour "stand-up" tours at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
